Yes. He donated to one of the donation for taxes places a month ago. I replied to his e-mail asking where it went in the hopes I could follow up with it that way but I have not heard back...
Really sucks, eh? But we'll see how it goes.
That I/O that you posted on CS is driving me nuts though! I'm still a little sort of that kind of scratch.

Cape - he did follow up with me pretty quickly, so maybe he just had some 6th sense that you are a miserable old fart or something . He gave me the info for where it was donated to, I called them and they said that the place selling boats for them (auction probably) had just sold the boat. The impression I got was that I was both a month late talking to him and a week late talking to the donation place...
Oh well - just my luck... He said that other than repowering, the boat was in excellent shape. The thread on the site said that it had twin 115s, one of which was blown. Would have been a great candidate for a modified savage:
Like this Savage (which I think is overpriced considering its in FL with 16 year old motors) :

John, you're obsessed. You need serious help.
If you don't get your SeaCraft soon, I think we may lose you.
Twins came home Sunday PM and are doin' well. How's the kid?
Let me know if you think you might hit the Boston boat show. I'd like to get over there for a few hours and it would be good to catch up. I'll be home helpin' with the twinners that week so even if you wanted to bolt work early or something... I could sneak out for a while.

AWESOME! Glad to hear that!
Right now, well again, Liam is sick and I had to stay home - Gwen just brought him to the docs office now.
If I go to the show, it will be Saturday evening - interested than?
Obsessed? Me? Nawww, never ...
Actually it has the best balance of what I want and what I & the family need in a boat.
Tell Karen & Britta we all said hello...

John
Ever try the Mass Maritime Boat auctions.
my buddy picked up a great deal last year.
there is minimum bids on a lot of boats but if they have had it more than 1 year they put a red sticker on it and on minimum bid.
Chris lives right across from where they store the boats.
If you ask him nice I'm sure he will see whats there
