Garmin GPS Question
Alright,
Finally got the boat in last week after gas tank replacement and getting back from work early June.
Having a GPS issue that I have never seen. It is the basic GPS 152. very simple but does the job.
When going to the tide info page and using todays date it displays "inaccurate data"????????
What does that mean, need to find my manual.

How old is the unit? Just a guess but maybe today's date is out of range for that slice of memory.

I have had the unit maybe 5 years. When I stated it up last week it was in 2007 so I thought I fixed it when entering todays date. Have to look into the memory you mentioned. I thought it got that info off the satellite but maybe not.........

Date and time do come from the satellites, but the tide data is stored in the unit.
