tide pool find

impressive fish. first time i've seen one in person. really want to catch one now.

its my face. tuna was dead. i just picked it up for a picture.

it was in good shape - eyes and gills still pretty bright. if i had a knife i might have taken a look at the meat just out of curiosity but i couldn't see eating something that i found dead on the shore. maybe i'm too domesticated besides, we found it just before dawn, a mile or so hike from the car and on private property. just thought it was a cool find.

i dragged it out to the edge of a rocky reef and pushed her out to sea (it sank) so it wouldn't bake in the sun until the tide came in.
