Hey John - look forward to seeing you and your mom shortly. I hope all is well.
I'm sure to wave and say hello to your dad frequently when I'm out fishing. I like to believe he's up their listening and usually laughing at me when I'm using an eel.
He's certainly been missed.

Went down to the sea tonight.Strangely I had every rock to myself, shrouded in an eerie gray mist. I threw his needles, black and then John's favorite white.Lots of fish, all small but lots of them. We had a nice chat....

Couple months ago I was throwing plugs at big bluefish. I went through the rotation and caught them on everything. The last plug in my bag was a white needle of your Dad's. I said to myself "I'm sure John would want me to throw this one too." First and only cast that day of that needle culled the only bass I caught that day. Amazing.

John Jr. - While I have never been fortunate to have met you, your father was certainly a gentleman and ambassador for the surf fishing community/industry ... always friendly to everyone, always willing to lend a hand and his insight ... his generosity will never be forgotten ... but is certainly missed.
Thanks, Andy Dear

the full moon looks orange sometimes when it rises because the light has to pass through more of the atmosphere then when the moon is higher in the sky. the blue light waves scatter but the red light waves pass through...... if you were wondering.

John Jr,
It was a sad day when Kadir called us on the Vineyard and gave us the news.
Your dad is thought of everytime I throw a needlefish into the darkness. He is sorely missed. Just read some of our emails.
Hope you, mon and all are well. See you all soon..............

It's hard to find the words...
Johnny, I think of your dad often, especially when I'm watching one of his lures work down the edge of a sculpted wave. We had a lot of laughs together and his memory always brings a smile to my face. I hope all is well with you and your mother and I look forward to seeing you both soon.
Perhaps this image says it all.

From all of us at Ct. surfcasters God Bless you and your mom. I still give John's advice on fishing needles to new members and also remind myself when fishing, crank to top and turn handle slooow.
