Countdown To The Habs Memorial Tournament

Two and a half weeks to go and it's coming up quick...

With the way the season's progressing, I'm hoping the fishing for this year's Habs will be great - and with the expansion of the contest area into MA waters, it oughta kick the competition up a notch, too...

In response to a couple of PM's I've gotten, we will not have on-line registration for this year's tourney, but there are 9 shops where you can pick up your tickets and enter - the locations are listed here:

http://www.striped-bass.com/Stripert...ment-info.html

I'm going to call the lovely Lisa at Flo's Clam Shack to give her a rough idea on the count for the Meet and Greet Friday night starting at 5:00 - if you're gonna be coming to Flo's, let me know

It was a great time last year, we had the deck reserved for us overlooking the beach, Cliff Walk and Easton's Point with chowder and clamcakes and Flo's 9.95 caveman cut of prime rib - we had a fine collection of fish-heads chowing and enjoying a few carbonated beverages

All in all it's gonna be a GREAT weekend for a little friendly competition and camaraderie and the Awards Ceremony and Raffle at the Bloooberry Factory on Sunday is gonna be something you really don't want to miss...

It's a fitting tribute to a good friend with the proceeds benefitting a very worthy cause, Hasbro's Tomorrow Fund for critically ill children and their families

We're looking forward to seeing you all there...

So who's going to Flo's on Friday?

Not like it's a dinner reservation, just trying to give Lisa a rough idea for the Meet and Greet...

Thanks...

Flo's was a great time last year but if I make it down this year I need to slow down on the clam cakes and cave man cut beef. I was ready for bed or more beer at 7:30 last year. Definitely going to Coddingtons this year!
