Salty's Godzilla Danny lip..

I just completed my prototype and R&D of a monster 10" danny , prior to sealing and epoxy the beast weighs just under 8 ounces...the belly houses 1 1/2 ounce of lead to give it the action I want and this big lip swims it with ease...I'll have the finnished plug at plugfest...

Nice job on this one Scott.. thanks

I need to see that lip as I am working on something pretty similar Joe, but probably not that heavy. I was going to try a large Moore's pikie lip or make my own but haven't gotten to that point yet. i always prefer to buy something instead of make it if it is what i want. How wide is that sucker. Thanks for the heads up.

the lip is 1.44 wide, 1.055 deep and 1.23 tall.. when I first saw the demensins,I thought, gee thats a big lip, so I bought a few..when i took it out of the box.. I thought to myself.. this thing is ( insert adjective) huge!... I always made my own for special plugs, but i hate spending the time unless it is something i'm only going to make only once... this plug was born out of a request by a tuna crazed friend that wanted a big slow moving plug to throw at SBFT that surface in his chum slick while chunkin.. I have NO clue what he plans to throw it with.. I just embraced the challenage..
