2 day sale @downes & reader -basswood

If anyones interested in basswood, when I was at downes and reader in stoughton this morning to pick up a piece of soft maple for darters they were having a 2 day sale on square stock that includes basswood in true 1.5 x 1.5 and 2 x 2. The wood was very clean with no knots.

They had it in 24" lengths, it was 1.12$ for the 1.5 and 2.20$ for the 2x2.

I think I ended up with the last of the 24" lengths of 1.5", they only let me buy 10. But it looks like you can still get the shorter lengths.
