Shop Swap?
Wondering if some of you guys might be interested in trying something different? Here is my idea! If we can get maybe 10 guys.....anyone who is interested in putting everyones name in a hat and pairing up some weekend at one guys shop or another to spend a few hours turning some plugs, sharing some ideas, techniques and then we can post a thread here and everyone can see how we all made out?? Might be fun?? After Christmas?? Any thoughts? We can try to pair guys who live close to each other? RI guys, Jersey guys, Mass. guys? What do you think??

i paint my plugs in make shift booth in my basement........which is only 4 feet high, so I use a kids computer chair to roll myself around, it kind of sucks but i stand up 12 to 14 hours a day in a hot kitchen, so its nice to sit down.
i think it would be great idea though.
i would love to see airbrush techinques as im just starting out with them, spray cans for me. prof m was nice enough to invite me up and show me around, if i can get away from the restaurant long enough i will take you up on the offer.

OK, I'm in. My shop is 20' x 22' and it is fully equipped with about any tool you would need, two lathes, table saw, band saw, belt, disc and oscillating spindle sanders, planer, drill press and more! Been working on this dream shop for many years.
Oh, but I forgot. My wife has taken over 20 x 16 of it for storage

You will have to sign a nondisclosure agreement before entering the Lu cave.

last Saturday Professor M. and I spent the afternoon in my shop, talking ( and turning) darter designs, swaping jig ideas and talking dust collection, as well looking (and laughing) at some of my early ventures.. it was nice to have someone to "talk shop" with.. I'd be up for few visitors after the holidays...
