How many years have you been visiting this site?

I had to log in today and my account name is Duke 41. That was my age. I will be 49 in March. Have I really been a member for almost 9 years? How long you some of you been visiting this site?

9 years +/- for me and I have never learned a thing.

Been here since the day the site went up in March of 2000, at the MSBA show at Cordage Park.

Had to re-register in October, which is why my profile reads the way it does.

Like MikeP, since way back 9 plus years ago. At first anyone could post and you didn't even have to be registered. I came in the door and have not been able to find my way out. I guess I am lost.

Been here awhile... I think I liked the MSBA shows at Cordage Park the best, as I knew nothing and world of custom plugs and high end gear was first revealed to me. I think a more painful question would be how many $$$$ have you spent since you found S-B....

JENN my DEAR ....whatever you say ...even in print
the mind believes

so when you say my memory is BAD
it only serves to make it so

because you giving your brain a command
same as when someone says
the frequently mentioned phrase
i can't remember (never say that)
instead you say : | i am remembering
i will remember-it's coming back to me
and it will <===

and start taking GINKO BILOBA - It works great!
start smelling some ordinary Rosemary herb too
because the olfactory senses are linked to memory
and you'll be amazed at some total recall you have

Wish I had made a 5% commission, could quit my day job. Instead I've spent 10 years making far less than supermarket bagging wages to do this.

But the friendships and experiences have been certainly worth it!

2001 for me - boy, somebody oughta start a Classic Thread thread...

Without a doubt, there's been some beauts...

To tell you the truth, I was thinking about some of the more humorous ones

I don't think there's much point in trying to re-ignite any smoldering embers

less than a year but the things i have learned on this site will last me a life time. this site got me back into fishing. i would go maybe ten times a year in high school then off to college only really went a couple times in the summer. this year i would say easily over a hundred outings. maybe around 65 consecutive outings, i would say i fished more than i slept this year and can't wait to do it again next year.

First post for me was in December of 2000, had to rejoin in April 2001, so lets say 9 years for me right now (I found the site when trying to think of how to occupy Jan-March 2001 off to re-coup from knee surgery).
I miss Patrick, too!
I believe there were about 60 or so members when I started.
I used to be deathly afraid of bassmaster, as he constantly harangued me for my use of herring for bait! We became buds later.
Billy Mitz and chris L. were my first friends on the site.
I helped plan the original TFCTFN (Year six or seven this year) with the rest of the kids.
It's been quite the ride!
