Kerosene

Anybody know where they sell it on the cheap...I just picked some up for my heater at home depot and they charge like $8 a gallon which seems a little pricey to me.

Do you have an Agway Farm or another Ag Supply store near you? Might have there.

Check out this site, just put in your ZIP and select kero:

Try a Tru-Value. I saw jugs of kero in Lands End in P-town.

Check the filling stations on Rt 1 just before Salisbury. I used to buy it just over the bridge at a station on the left. I cannot remember the name, but he had a sign for K1. Don't be fooled & burn diesel fuel. It will give you a headache and probably croak ya. It can be found easily in NH.

It should cost less than deisel because deisel has lots of taxes heaped on. These days it seems like the pricing is always "whatever the market will bear".

I lived in CT for 3 1/2 years and use K2 sometimes. It also was at its own pump at the gas stations. I remember the nozzle was bigger so it wouldn't fit into eth gas refil hole on cars. The pump was off to the dide by itself. I think it was blue or green? I forget but there was an official color for pumps and supposed to be for cans also , like the red cans for Gasoline.
