Double tragedy, Avis Boyd died
Avis was the wife of Bob Pond. Those who
knew Bob knows that they were an inseparable
pair. She was at his side in his field work in 1970s
and an indispensible partner in his lobbying efforts.
She was the kindest person and always had a big
smile for everyone. She was in hospital with pneumonia
and died last night in time to join Bob on trip to heaven.
She was 84 years.
Bob's Memorial service is Saturday at 11AM, Bethany Village
Fellowshop, 516 Newport Ave, S. Attleboro, MA.
I will be there. Who else is going???

It's sad to hear but it is, in a way, a testament to their bond to each other. I have heard a number of stories of elderly couples that pass within a short period of each other. Sometimes the desire to carry on without their spouse is overwhelmed by their love and desire to be with them.
God bless them and may they have the peace and tranquility they deserve and have earned.

There's something romantic about two very old companions going together.
God bless them both and condolences to their families.
