Block Island Tourney - Striper Talk Striped Bass Fishing, Surfcasting, Boating

For those of you who like to fish for a good cause. I am planning on fishing the BI inshore fishing tourney. It is a fund raiser for childrens cancer. The dates are in late September. Fri-Sunday. I would be willing to head up this trip and coordinate getting all of us a house for that weekend. Need to plan now as fall is still busy on the Block with birders and leaf peepers. the tournament last year was a good time and if anyone needs a hand with finding a house to stay i can probably help out. plan early because they go fast out here and let me know if i can help with anything...it for a great cause.

Hey Todd - Welcome to S-B! We'll hopefully be able to field a team or three if it doesn't conflick with one of our other tourneys. Even if it does I'm sure somebody will participate...

duke41,john,milo...glad to hear the excitement. like i said if i can be of any assistence let me know. you can surf cast, fly rod, boat or all divisions. it's warm and the bass are usually L A R G E.

I am in but only IF the ct surf casters thing on Cuttyhunk is not this weekend. If it is I will be on Cuttyhunk that weekend.

Cutty......Block.....Cutty......Block.... I dunno, both sound good to me. Have to figure out one weekend to bring the boat down. (can you hear that sound? Dat's the fuel being sucked outta the tanks! Will have to start the fuel bank now for that round trip!
