Surfcaster's Journal magazine issue #2 is now live
I just wanted to let you know that Surfcaster's Journal Magazine Issue# 2 is now live at
Surfcasters Journal
I think you'll find our tribute to Legendary surfcaster Bentsen interesting especially the cape stories from Chuck Leigh, who is a legend in his own right. Janet has a piece on growing up amongst men in the surf at MV and some of you will particularly like the 50+ page piece on Cutty . There is more but I'll let you see for yourself. I think the cover shot, a drawing of Al Bentsen by Mike Sudal is one of the best covers I've ever seen. Then again, I might be just saying that because I miss Al as a friend so much. You be the judge.
And of course, we unveiled our STRIPERTHON 2010 catch and release contest with thousands of dollars in prizes. For once, you can release the fish and still finish first.
And its all priced right.
Free of course
Enjoy

Zeno, great job in the layout and content of the journal. Sorry I missed you but skiing was awesome!!!Call you soon.
Larry, I know it says issue 1 in the upper left corner but maybe you could go to the middle of the screen and find the words "full screen". If you click on that you should be golden.

I breezed through it and it looks like a great issue. Tributes to Bentsen are well deserved.
I think Zeno's post that the cover was a drawing of Al was a good hint that Issue 2 was in front of you.

Clear your browser cache but tilting your laptop to one side, the side opposite the hard drive, and tapping it until the bits fall off the cache.
Then return to the page in question you should be fine, If that doesn't work buy a Mac.

Zeno, the content, graphics and photography in the second issue are brilliant. Period.
Congratulations on another truly impressive creative effort by you and the SJ team!
And an ENORMOUS thumbs up on highlighting the importance of conservation at this point in time with your 2010 Striperthon catch and release tournament...
Keep up the good work!
