Game 7 Bruins/Flyers

I am afraid to watch. I do not want to be let down again. After being at last seasons game 7 loss at home to Carolina and experiencing that horrible feeling walking out of the garden, I am not sure I can handle it this time especially because of how it has played out so far.
The ffffing Canadians are waiting for the winner

Do I think they can win? Yes. Do I think they will? I don't know, I do know that I seldom drink alcohol but tonight may be the exception.

Predictions?

I am going with a 2-1 B's win. They will score in the first three minutes of the game and get the game winner halfway through the third. Look for Rask to be huge and the refs to let them play.

Bruins need to score first or its just going to feel like the last 3 games.
Defensemen must clear Flyers from front of th enet.

Make your tee times B's. I can't see them coming away with this game with their anemic offense, but I am usually wrong with predictions so please feel free to prove me wrong B's. It will be fun to watch though, I hope.

3-1 after one. Need to keep banging and keep up the intensity. Deflected goal got by Rask. Otherwise a great period for the home team.

Great job B's! You made history alright! This one is going to talked about for a long time. What's next, besides the obvious tee times?

I had a bad feeling after philly scored the first goal in the last couple minutes of the 1st.

Everything is better on the rocks.

that bit. I actually didn't watch the second and most of third period and was quite surprised to find it tied when i tuned in again, but congrats to fellow Franklinite, Mr. Laviolette. Well done. Now go and beat the Habs.

24 hrs later and I still can't get over it
I was really looking forward to a bruins - montreal semi finals

I know we weren't suppose to go this far and what little offense we had was gone due to injury, but right now I am so disapointed in these guys I can't even look forward to the #2 draft pick in 40 some odd days.

I really am getting tired of rooting for this franchise.

When they went up 3-0, Clod Julien switched to a 1-2-2 type of forecheck/defense and it cost them. He needs to go.

Feel bad for Rask. 2 of the 4 Flyers goals were off of Bruins defensemen.

Wheeler does nothing for me. 6'5" and is afraid to get in front of the goalie. Ryder seemed to step up, but if they can get anything for him I think they have to take it. Wideman can just go.

They need to get Thomas to waive his no-trade clause.

Me too. This damn thread is always here when I check the new posts. Wish it would get deleted so I could forget about it completely.

Not sure why Julien had the team stop attacking after the first period, too long to protect lead for two periods. Frustrating. Rask could have played better. The "fluke" goal in the first he should have stopped and he simply handed Hartnell the puck on the second goal. Way too many "juicy" rebounds. I think he wore down like many predicted he may before the playoffs. Compare him to Halak and what he is doing.

Regardless I am ultra bummed too as a B's Habs showdown would have been awesome. Right now I do not care about the draft or next season but I will still be watching the rest of the playoffs.
