OK - need some help here
Seeing that we have a few people very new to SW fishing, I was wondering if I could get some help. I'm looking for volunteers to write up some mid detailed How-Tos on various things about fishing.
Some of the new guys & gals ask a lot of questions that the rest of us consider, well - we don't consider them because they are very basic to us.
What I'm thinking is some How-To's covering the basics. A reasonable amount of info to get someone just getting started off on the right track.
I'll do something on eeling. If someone would want to do Elementary Chunkin' or Basic Plugging, Conventional -v- Spin, Basic live baiting, etc.
These will then go down into the FAQ / How To section and others can comment on them or add to them as well.
I've only been wanting to do this for 2 years but I think it would be good to get into before the Micro Bass arrive... I'm halfway thru my eeling FAQ...
Thanks!
Volunteers ??
(Oh - spots not needed at all - just how to)

Ya want something on the Ditch? Basic ABC's?
Suppose I could do a basic plugging, too.

John, I have an article I wrote on Shimano Baitrunner Maintanence, complete with pictures.....but.......it has been "published" elsewhere, and the webmaster did a lot of work on getting it from Word format to HTML format, so I don't know what the implications are. Although it is my work and mostly my "copyright", not sure how well it would go over..
I still have the Word version........
PM or e-mail me to discuss........

John-
If no one else has volunteered, I could help out with the surf chunking article.
I think I would have to work hard at screwing it up.
When would you like 'em?

Thanks again - WeeWee - anytime. I'm certainly not going to yell and say tomorrow. I hope to have some up within a week, two or three.
My thinking was to have the main "How To" article and others can comment / add suggestions below them to nudge those just starting out in the right direction.
Thanks

Jenn....I'd really like to post it here, and am in the process of getting the go ahead, but in the mean time, if ya really need it, send me a pm and I can either send you a link, or can forward the original Word version (yes, it has the pics) via e-mail (but I'd need your e-mail adress to do that...)

Goose,
A cheveron is a diamond just wrapped on one side....
Isn't cheveron a french word? We are gonna have to come up with a new name..... The surrender wrap?
When you coming over? I cleaned up my shop for epoxying and already got it all messed up. This plug building thing owns me more than my lawn.

Reply to John R
I can do one on schoolie fishing, waders, flats fishing, saftey, boating, fishing buzzards bay and of course reel selection.
I wont due one on plugging #1 because there are to many schools of thought on the subject and 2 people may think i'm a little bias.
I may be young but i'm fiash aholic and I've got more time to write this stuff.
Send a Pm or reply

IFG - you are a young fellow, right? How about an article from the perspective of young anglers - something which gives some of us an insight on your perspective of angling?

Ahhh, like just about everything else on the Internet - Stole it! ...
Actually, funny thing was, Slipknot wanted a picture of a jig under his name last year so I gave him the banana doing, well, the Jig ('til Bloo had to scre it up and make him a "jig")
Ya want that one?
