Shuttle/ISS in sky tonight

Human Space Flight (HSF) - Orbital Tracking

Check it out. Should be visible for about 3 minutes. 8:26pm here.

I remember in 1960 seeing EchoI at dusk. A mylar balloon to bounce radio signal off. This space stuff still gives me a rush. I nearly over tached at the Space Center....

Kewl. I've seen both before but several years ago . The thing that is nice is that they are moving fast enough that the movement helps you pick them out easily from the nearly stationary appearing stars.

One of the guys I work with, his nephew is Steve Bowen mission specialist. This is his second shuttle mission, and the whole family goes down for the launch.

It should be a great night to see , I missed the Fri. one it was overcast, I've seen 2 space shuttles go over in the past, yes they do move fast so it's kinda easy to see if your looking in the right spot . It will be on time so be ready.

Very cool how it first showed between the Moon and Venus.

Saw it last summer at night but this was better, must have something to do with being so close to sunset. Seemed bigger.

I think that was one of the best views I had, it surely was the longest path across the entire sky. That 1st appearance next to Venus was cool.

The only better view was when the station and shuttle were flying in tandem shortly after the shuttle undocked from the station.

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.
