Not all of them were on plugs. I got one about 35# on a 9" tsunami.

I actually need to start carrying a scale so I don't toss back any striper cup entries. I can usually guess pretty close, but thought 35# was pretty conservative given it was 47" and built like a wine barrel...didn't have my cooler with me either, so back she went. It was just before you pulled up too, could have gotten a pic if you pedaled a little faster...

Saw one fish from the Ditch this am that wouldn't fit in a 96 q igloo. Not sure of the weight but looked mid 30lb to 40 plus.Lots of 28 to 36 in fish too. Bombed out as forgot my crippled metal. All were after the macs.Ron

Morning was picture perfect , high tide and the fishing was on the slower side but with views like this I really didn't notice. Can't beat weekday fishing.

Professor,
I was in the same place this morning. Beautiful morning in my favorite place on earth. As for the fishing I'll send you a PM to keep it private.

Had good fishing all night at the canal mostly fish in the 24 - 32" range but as soon as the sun came up this morning it really slowed down quick. Saw one around 30# picked up by a guy drifting chunks around 4AM.

Was a nice morning.Although I haven't caught a fish yet this year.I was in my yak early this morn drifting a bit and just kicked back.Lifted my feet up and almost dozed off.Drifting aimlessly laying in a kayak staring into space.Deer on the banks feeding.Birds chirping.Fish not cooperating. Was a nice week off.Fished hard and came up empty.
