Finally splashing the boat tomorrow morning, but have to get back for baseball playoff game in the afternoon and lacrosse playoff games on Sunday.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day ...
show him where to fish and ... you'll be sorry

Hang at home and watch the World Cup. No fishing yet for me - maybe next weekend.

Try to think of something to get the wife and kid out of the house for a while - wife's starting to get cabin fever.

Finally have a weekend where I may be able to put some serious time in. Just bought a couple dozen eels. My wife is taking the little guys away. Hopefully hang a decent fish for the Striper Cup.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan
