Good Wet Morning

First cast with a jig this year.. 28lb fattie..
Second cast - 20lb
Third - 17lb

Few more in the 15lb range over the course of the morning.

Weighed this one in for the tourney.. never know when you might have a shot for a weekly.

nice fishy, good friend of mine lost a good one this morning because he never changes his line and it parted 5 minutes into the fight. He will never learn.

I was obsessively checking my line this morning. I'm relatively new to jigging

that's got to be quite an unpleasant feeling

There were two guys to my right this morning with bent rods jigging. Could've been you. Nice fish. Me and my buddy Todd did pretty well this morning too.

Great report, Brian.

I had some topwater fun early with bass from low teens to just over keeper sized on rubber shads. After jigging some big macks, I changed gears and location. Was able to out wait my first thirty pounder of the year. Boat fish. Life is good again!

ya know, I didn't have any Mackeral gear on me this morning, but there were some bug schools of macks going back and forth in front of me after the tide changed for awhile. I was pining for a little kastmaster.

I'm a little surprised to hear some of these reports, where I was must of been the hot spot because there were quite a few guys up and down my side walking out of there with 2 fish each. I just assumed it was a good morn...
