Need a LOCAL gunsmith....
I know this maybe shoud be in the "Sportman's Talk" forum, but there is so little activity in there and I need help ASAP.
I need a local gunsmith anywhere between Westport/ Brockton that can do an on the spot Johnny repair to my Glock 23 carry gun.
The spring that resets the trigger broke on me. I talked to Glock about it but I am not too keen on shippin my firearms and then the wait/ turn around time as well.
If anyone knows one, please let me know.
Thanx.

Who pissed you off so that you need it so urgently...
Ever see the Simpsons episode where Homer gets a gun....He goes in to the gun shop and the guy says he has to wait 3 days for the security check to clear.....Homer says "Ohhhh, 3 days, But I'm angry now"

Just take the thing back to Toys "R" us. They'll probably replace it with another one free of charge.

Check with Steve Langenfeld in Whitman. He is a certifed Glock armoror. He did stuff for us on our Glocks at the station. I think he is on Rye Hill Road, which runs off of route 58 in Whitman. Easy to find. Good guy. Tell him Frank O'Rourke told you to call.

Wish I could, but since we live in the United Socialist States of America, I can't bring my gat across state lines into RI.

I know it's not in the area you mentioned but I recommend AG Guns in Lowell. They've done work for me in the past and do a good job and are good guys.
