Photoshop anyone?
I used to have it on our computer that died and I really would like to have it again but unfortunately it's not on our laptop and the wife doesn't seem interested in finding or even knows if we have the disks.
I am a computer idiot so i was wondering without having to go out and buy an $80 version, does anyone have the software I can download? I could pay in plugs or something. I only need a basic version, not the professional photography kind.
Any help would be really appreciated
thanks

I can get you JACS Paint Shop Pro ver9 which is what I use mostly for FREE. What is it about Photoshop you like and use, maybe PSP has the same/maybe not?

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

Try Paint.net.
Do a google search. It's very similar.

Download GIMP. It does pretty much everything Photoshop 6.0 did and is completely free. Pretty easy to learn as well.

MSPaint:
is different from Paint.net:
I was confused back when I first heard about it.
As many others have suggested, GIMP is also an excellent choice, but more complicated in my opinion.

i just burned jasc 9 to a cd rom yesterday
their best version i think...
i was down at best buy and all the art programs
they used to sell there .....are no longer sold
i thought that the learning curve for photo shop
was higher than jasc 9
and it wasn't as user friendly
i'm gonna check bj's for recycled software next
i would say that Jasc9 (paint shop pro) is a step above paint
and a step below photoshop in complexity
it's all i've ever used....
