It's coming...are you prepared?

No, not the fall run or even hurricane earl, but our second annual "it's over" late season large extravaganza...be prepared as it could be over before you know it

Funny, that you posted this today. I was thinking "It's over" as I was driving home last night after hitting a couple spots and not even seeing any bait in the water, nevermind decent fish.

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

Yes, I've added a "Numbskull" division for this year's fest which will award both the first fish entered as well as the smallest fish entered.

Poncho:

Here's the full details of this silly contest:

I make a tongue in cheek declaration that the season is over(usually weeks before the fish leave), then all the participants here scramble to put up the biggest surf fish and win one of my crappy plugs. In the past I'd give out a premium quality plug built by one of the more recognized builders, but now its my stuff for better or worse. Look for the "It's over" declaration in the coming weeks(usually mid october) to signal the start.

Mike, You should come full circle and only include entrants caught on a plug. Now that you have abandoned your elvers....

No, I haven't prepared yet

soon though

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

You maybe right, all the fish I have caught in the last week has been during daylight hours as soon as the sun goes down no fish or very few.
Small fish chasing bait in the first wave is a true sign of the end
