(NECN) - The Coast Guard says one person is dead, and two others were rescued after their boat began taking on water about one mile off the coast of Provincetown, Massachusetts Friday.
CPR was performed on one of the unconscious boaters the entire trip back to the station, but was pronounced dead a local hospital.
The two survivors were hypothermic but in stable condition when rescued by the Coast guard crew.
The Coast Guard responded to a Mayday distress call from the 20-foot vessel around 9:10 a.m., saying they were taking on water.
