Another Season Gone By

After hanging up the surf rods a few weeks ago. It was time to reminisce on yet another season of striped bass. One that in my mind, I will label the year of the 30 pounder. No mater where I fished from or where I went it seemed like fish from the mid 20s to the mid 30lb range were sum what common. This was definitely a year that I will not forget and was very productive in teaching me many more vital things that will only increase my knowledge come next season. So here are a few pictures of a season gone by. Not many fish pictures but a sample of every thing else that goes with it.....................All the pictures are from my back yard play ground, as this is where I spent most of my time............Im such a spot burner........Ahahahaha..Enjoy....Theres a lot

These are from the great Gannet blitz that went 3 days and lasted even longer in other places. I still don't know why these usually smart birds came into shore and attacked every thing. I even caught one on a butterfly jig at the bottom of the ditch. A few of us took our hooks off our plugs and had a little fun.

Nice pics, Roy! That second one in the first group would make a great framed print.

Thanks Roy!

Nice pics Roy,brings an unwanted end to the season.

Does your incessant whining make you feel better? How about you just shut the hell up and suck it up? It's a fishing forum , so please just stop.

Nice pictures! That one of combat fishing at canal (I assume) gets me. All that shoreline and everyone is in each others pockets.

Happens everywhere though.

This was a tough year for crowds and will probably only get worst. I don't mind fishing next to someone especially if they know what there doing, but sometimes it got ridiculous. If some people only had a little curtesy it wouldn't be so bad
