I just read that this morning. Thoughts and prayers go out to the gentleman's family. That's an area where it looks easy to wade, but the mud along the banks is more slippery than goose poop and the tide comes in and out real fast.

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

What a shame. Worse when it is waters you fish at many times during the year. Sad to say but i am glad it was not one of the many i know that fish that area. Prayers to his friends and family.

Too young... This is why I don't like to fish alone at night.

Thoughts and prayers!

sad news

Its a neat little spot too, and really makes you think about fishing alone. I never would have worried about fishing there, except maybe if I walked a ways out to the channel. Those banks do drop off if the tide is up though. Either way sad news, thoughts and prayers to the family.
