It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

Never appreciated enough.
Kind of puts fish squabbling in perspective.

Thanks Plum Crazy, that says it all.
How often we forget the sacrifices of life, limb and service of
our Armed Forces, the reason we live in freedom.
God Bless all Vets and the USA.

Great thread, thanks to all who served and to their families that support them.
Tomorrow night, I get to see a few guys from Easy Company, 101st Airborne. I've seen a lot of famous people before but nothing will be like being in the same room as these guys! Cant wait!

This is one of the few holidays that I always take to heart.
Friends and family have served, put in their time.
Its not just those that have served in combat, but all of them that have given up so much for our preservation.
The holidays and other events away from friends and families.
I could never be away from the freedom to fish like they sacrifice.
Thank you for doing your part to give me what I have.

Thanks to all who ever enlisted/drafted, past or present, full-time/part- time. It's the people that answer that call, knowing what needs to be done, doing and not expecting anything in return for it, that make this countryt the greatest ever. Go Army!
