BBB

BBB Changes Rating System - Project Economy News Story - WCVB Boston

I figured this out 15 years ago when they wanted me to join. I've never used them since. There's nothing to stop them from giving you a good or bad rating. It's all driven by money.

Moral of the story...don't waste your time. The bbb is and always has been a scam from the start.

Getting your business listed with United Labaratories is the same deal.. It costs around 2 grand to be able to put those stickers on a lamp.

Well, we certainly don't want anyone starting their day off with disappointment.

Although those pictures were lovely, to get back to the Better Business Bureau thing. When ever I see the the BBB sign I am immediately thinking BUYER BEWARE! Years ago I went into this career services company in Boston and they had the BBB signs plastered all over the place. They were the biggest bunch of scumbags ever trying to steal $5k off of every smuck they could - I saw through the scam right away but know people that actually got sucked in. Ever since then it has been very funny how most companies I encounter with the BBB sign appear to be a bit sketchy. I am sure there are some reputable companies that use their services but whenever I see that BBB sign my guard goes up and I usually turn around and walk out.
