Dunno. My two (3?) year old 770SW is doing OK so I won't need one for a while but that is also no longer available.

I do know I prefer the metal bodies Olympus with a deeper depth rating and a greater shock rating.

Someone also mentioned Sony has one.

I have the Pentax Optio W60. About three years old? No problems at all.

I have the fuji camera, excellent pics and small, light and cheap. think it was like $140

Lots of talk about the sony camera.

model is dsc-tx5, some specs, Waterproof, dustproof, shockproof, freeze-proof, 3.0" wide touch screen, 4x optical zoom, "Exmor R" sensor, iSweep Panorama Mode, 10fps at full 10.2 megapixels.

Not sure how good it is, but if its like all the other sony stuff ive owned, its probably a winner.

Seems like the average price is $329.00

That style Olympus will be my next camera!!!
I have had an Olypmus for about 4 years now....I forget the model but it's waterproof to 10 ft, shockproof and FREEZEPROOF. I do a lot of icefishing and this camera has been great. I have used it in the pool, during sub zero temps and never a problem. Has worked well for me....and takes pretty decent pictures. It's been spilled on, dropped, left in a hot car....no issues.

I roll with a Pentax Optio WP 10 that is in it's fifth year. Recently starting to take a blurry pic once out of every 25 but I have beat the snot out of it for well over 4 years. I highly reccommend the Pentax Optio WP line.

Night-time photography with the Pentax Optio W60 is barely possible (the auto focus is not visible infra-red so you can't center your subject unless it is lit).

The W60 has a very limited self-timer option (10 seconds) which makes self-photos at night very difficult. The exposure and focus also locks when you push the shutter on the timer so if you are in front of the camera with your light on so you can see it when you do so and then move back to pick up a fish the shot will be out of focus and the exposure poor.

The lens has no cover and since you can't see through it in the dark when it has water on it you will end up with a ruined shot.

The w60 is a tough little camera and for daytime shots of dead fish it is fine. If you want night photos of something you hope to release you might be able to do better.

I bought a waterpoof canon D10. I plan to keep it on the boat . I have a lot of canon stuff and I am very familr with the software and button layout.

I tried using the iphone but they suck in poor light.

What is amazing is how cheap they are getting...basically use it till it breaks and get a new one.

Don't forget about the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS models. If I had a choice, I'd get the Panasonic now. For now I use Olympus 770SW. I did buy the Panasonic for my folks so I get to play around with their Lumix.
