Here is all I know for anyone who wants to make some



You can see the original which is all brass hangers and thru wire which is threaded in rear with 2 nuts. I did one that way out of stainless, which was a bear. Then I figured out a way to wrap the tail and also you can see another way Capesams showed me using stainless bike spoke which has the nut type screw in the back. I did have to make the little thingy that the flap tail attaches too to make it hang down lower but that piece makes a world of difference in the plug than using a swivel like most modern day guys use. It had a very small tail wgt. in the rear which believe it or not was just plain steel, not lead.
