RI Marine Fisheries Public Hearings Feb 22

The proposals of the RI Marine Fisheries Public Hearings are show on the slide show (see attached link) for the upcoming Feb 22 meeting.
Emails, letters and atteding this meeting as you all know are important.
The menhaden bill has four proposals.

Interesting that the only option for Rec Striped Bass is status quo...I would think there would be enough support to at least consider going back to one fish at 28" per day.

Patrick,
I'm on the SB Advisory Panel - one fish wasn't even brought up as an option. Last time a more conservative recreational option was discussed we were told that any savings could then be transferred to commercial quota by ASMFC. ASMFC appears to be the stumbling block to more conservative rec take.
