Plugfest 2011, My first

So finally had a chance to relax today after plugfest and running around with the future in laws.

Overall was a good time.

Some really great displays, Prof M and Numbskulls table was like a rock concert, always a crowd and a good reason for it. Numbys bags and plugs wre insane, Prof M surf gaf made from titanium was insane, as well as all the jigs and the amazing plugs you guys put out.

Thank you to Vineyard Blues for bringing me the Soco Big Chief replica that Capesams made, you guys were to nice for answering my questions and letting me take all the measurements and pics of the plug. Top notch stuff.

Hope everyone got there eel jugs, if not I have more.

Got some nice plugs from Saltydog, OD Mike, PRBuzz, Ryan560, Blond Terror, Numbskull, Diggin Jiggin, and Slipknot.

Thanks to Jmac for the pice of solar flare.

I think I owe you a plug Bruce, I dont remember if you got one of mine.

I know I owe Numbskull one for sure.

Was nice to meet everyone and put a face to a name... in some cases not so much

All the displays were great and very helpful.

Guess I suck at trading cause I came back with more of my own plugs than trades

The greeks and goo goo man's plugs are even better in person, which is hard to believe. Didnt get any

Looking forward to next year

Chris, you don't owe me a plug. It is hard to explain, but I want people to fish what I build, and hopefully catch with them. That is the real reward in building plugs, and what I hope to get in return when I give them away.

glad you made it to the fest this year
we all seem to learn something every time.

I think I got one Chris, a needlefish plug, ribbed for her pleasure but if you want to make me another, by all means I'll fish it

I was looking through my box while looking at Numby's x-rays saying to myself "I know I brought them!"

Nobody calls me Lebowski. You got the wrong guy. I'm the Dude, man.

Chris,
It was a good time! Trading plugs is one part of plugfest, I enjoyed giving my plugs to the young anglers, Danny (Slipknots son), (Good2hook) George's son, Backbeach's son and Johny Duckets son. To see how happy they were to get a plug, made my plugfest!!!

Just wish I could have chatted with more builders...

Next year : )
