lighter weight eel skin jigs
Anyone know where I can get eel skin jigs in the 1 oz - 2 oz range? I have em and can find em in bigger weights, but not the small ones.

they seem to be scarce.
Saltwateredge has 2.5oz Pt Jude eelskin jigs and NJ tackle has a 2.25oz version. Could take a pair of diagonal cutters and cut off a piece. Something stupid that I would do.

Could'nt you ziptie a skin on most any jighead, I don't think the NJ ones have a hole in them. Or drill a hole in a smilin bill

SQUIDDING.
How many of you go squid fishing? I enjoy it, I have a gatherers mentality and love to bring food back to the house. I dont keep more than one or 2 bass a yr but I love squid and crabs. Shellfish to me are nasty little buggers but I like digging and making friends happpy. How many of you like to gather and how many of you just surf fish? Now if i could just catch me some jumbo shrimp

I definitely want the hole. Wonder how drilling a hole would go.

Drilling the hole is OK if you can avoid the hook shank. not easy on a small jig
