Not sure on where... But I've got a Revo and love it. Some prefer the roomier outback. I like the Revo since it's a tad faster the the outback, so if you need to cover alot of water you can do it a little quicker. I'd say test them both and see which one you like better. You can't go wrong with either.

I've already made the decision to take the plunge for one next year/ or maybe end of season this year.....looking at the revo for next year.

If you are in no hurry, scour the internet for a used hobie. You have to act quick as they don't last long...

If you ever go out on a Yakrats Scramble with Larry its like a Carrier group.....Larry is the USS Nimitz and we are all destroyer Escorts....got a couple of Frigates mixed in to the group too

My brother has a PA, he ate something that wanted out when he was in the middle of Joppa flats. Luckily he was in the dark and hung his butt over the side. How many kayaks can you do that out of, not in?
The thing is definitely the Queen Mary of kayaks.

I raced Mac in his Revo me in my Outback ,, both with Turbo fins. We stayed neck and neck in North River ,,. Granted Mac isn't in half as good as shape as me . (he's 50 now).. Consider Outback for the extra room .. Try and buy Local I had one shipped and it was damaged in shipping ,, went thru hell getting it squared away with the shipping company . couldn't use it for 4 months until their inspector came out ,, inspecting the yak and packaging ... I got 600 back , Total package was 1,750 - the 600 ... But I ordered extras ,, Turbo fins ,, sailing rudder ,, Hobie Life jacket , Wheels ,, fish finder,, mount,, battery,,built in compass . Rod leashes .. Rod extensions (don't need those )..

Nice! Now I really want one . Is there sales tax on yaks in RI? CT? MA? NH? ME?

What else do I need to get for gear? Looking for advice on fish finder , rod holders , etc, all the BS i wouldn't think of too . Thinking if I get it all at once I could get a better deal? Need to make all purchases now , in another 6 months ,there will be nothing more for myself...

I found a 2011 used , only a few times , months old. SOld couple weeks ago.....

Alden of Sunapee in Newport, NH is an excellent dealer and you can get them to throw in a lifetjacket or dolly.... they sometimes have demo ones available.. Mark works there and he is very active in New England Kayak fishing webbsite

fish finder depends how deep your pockets are .. Mine was $100 .. and I rolled the yak so it's been under water and still good . I just like knowing how deep of water I'n in. Mine isn't a gps or anything . still Fish Finder 100,, mount 60 ,, battery 60 .. adds up . Mine shows clumps of mud as fish (north river is loaded),, It also had my heart pounding in jelly fish infested waters . (Onset Bay)
