New update on Bill
Hi All well the battle continues for Bill, yesterday they had him only lightly sedated on the breathing machine so it was nice to see his eyes open and know that I was there, I took his father in to see him yesterday so at least he got to talk to Bill, as the last time i had him over Bill was on the breathing machine then as well and not awake.
They told us yesterday that things are still very critical and can go either way. He ended up getting pneumonia the other day because of fluid buildup in his lungs plus from laying so long. They are trying to get rid of that with antibiotic. His kidneys they say are not working and by his vitals they do not think his kidneys will ever work again so he may be looking at permanent dialysis for that.
I am hoping that today they can get him off of the breathing machine. the longer he is on it the more damage that can happen to his throat and I pray to god he does not have to have a treachiotomy. I spoke to his surgeon yesterday, he says he has a very long way to go, he is still very sick and he will be surprised if Bill gets thru this.
Well all I can do is have hope and keep praying as I do not know any surgeons who have been appointed God lately. I had a pretty bad melt down the other day as I felt like the walls were caving in on me. But I am doing Better now. Its just been a very tough road and he has now been in the hospital close to a month. So I know i keep saying this but please keep him in your prayers as we will take what we can get right now. I will update you all in a few days. thanks Jules

Jules,
Don't be afraid to rely on some friends during this time... YOU need all the emotional support you can get right now. I know this isn't easy. I'll be keeping both of you in my thoughts.

You are a good woman, Jules. Your strength will help both of you through this.... Not knowing what your days consist of, please try to figure out how we can be of assistance, for even the most basics that you need. That might include some groceries in the fridge, prepared meals, or other basics for the house like TP.... There are many here who would love to help out if they had an assignment.

This should not be happening to people as nice as the both of you. I wish there were laws against all nice people and children getting sick. My whole family is pulling for you guys.

I don't know Bill or Jules or most everybody on this site but I have been following Bill's updates and hoping for the best. Always difficult when a loved one is sick and it sounds like you have a large group of people who love and support the both of you, be well.
