Van Staal Reels

Thinking of getting one of the Van Staal VM150 . Is that strong enough to pull 100 pound tuna if I decide to go. I just want an overall reel that can some what do it.lol

the guys using vs for tuna are using bigger ones.

spend your money on a few more moderatly priced setups. really no reason to use a vs striper fishing from a boat. not gonna really dunk it on a boat or get it sandy

my 1st wife didn't like me fishing so much

FIN-NOR OS 95.

Under 150$ and huge with big drag system to 60 lbs.
And there aint no way anyone is holding 60 lbs on a spin rod stand up.
In other words its got way more power than youll need. Great reel and price especially if your just occasionally fishing for charlie.

VS is overkill and overpriced
