Me too, man. It's becoming more and more evident that a moss covered stump down there on the bayou is smarter than the Lesser Manning. Graziano (the ESPN NFCE blogger) wrote a good piece on this.
The interviewer baited him into the question, if you hear the interview. But what else was he supposed to say? If he said "Brady's so much better than I am" he would have been roasted alive in the NY media.
I mean, I agree- I think Eli is overrated and an average QB. Insane stretch of luck gave him a ring and an MVP trophy. But I agree with Graz- I'd definitely want the leader of my team to be confident, and constantly thinking they can play as well as one of the top players in the league. Much better than the alternative.
