Canal specials and new spooks
Hi all,
This is my first run with two part epoxy, interesting stuff to work with The finish is different from what i'm use to.... I like the way it almost gives a 3D effect on the Macs (pics don't do justice)....
Cheers,
OD

Those are sick. Great stuff. Let me know if you need a crash test dummy to throw a few for you.

Spud, I never stop building.... Its the best time to learn how your new ideas work.... Can't wait to hear how that long pencil's action is like!!!
All the lures including the large spook are 3 oz or better and the small spook is 1.6 oz and should be sub surface. Sorry guys, all of the plugs are spoken for, maybe I'll set some aside on the next batch.....
Can't wait to start painting again!!!
Thanks everyone!!!

Olive copper - Smalls
Someone recently told me they saw bait in the canal that was brown on top and white on bottom. I didn't have brown paint so I used copper pearl, olive pearl and opaque olive. I hope I become as good as Mike Thomas at layering!!!!

does the pencil on the left (white pencil) have the eye on the bottom? is that to give the appearance of wounded fish flopping on the side?

Yes, that's the theory. There are more than one with the eye on the bottom, saves time and eyes and gives the plug a different look...
Greg, the large pencils are all 3+ ounces and tail weighted unlike the last batch.
Dennis, still working on the tuna hybrid.....
Cheers,
OD
