Can you spearfish stripedbass in R.I.
A friend of mine was traveling down 12 Mile Road,(is that right?) just outside of Neport sunday, and he watched a female scuba diver come out of the water dragging two bass, good size he says, (he is a fisherman) with a speargun over her shoulder. I didn't think it was legal in Mass. but I am curious whether or not anyone here knows, as I am sure some one will.

Yup legal in RI, watch some YouTube videos of guys spearing 50s on block, it's crazy!

They had a Spearfishing show on Versus a few weeks ago that was getting stripers off of Block
