Water Slide Decals

Been playing with this today. Anyone got any good tricks for moving a large one of these onto the side of a lure body?

The edges seem to want to curl up. Wrecks the thing..I laid the whole thing wet on top of the lure, put some liquid stuff on before the decal that they recommended to make the base slippery.

I tried this three times and haven't found any easier way of doing it. This is the best one so far...It's a picture of a striper over a white base. Think the base needs to be pearlized before the decal is dropped down too. The decals are clear gelatin with a paper backing that comes off after you put in the water for 10 seconds or so.
