Funny sea story

So 6 college buddies and I were fishing on the SNAPPA this Saturday. We were fishing for scup/sea bass near Block, in 80 feet of water. My good friend, who is a very good fisherman, somehow dropped his rod into the water. We were all very sympathetic, pointing and laughing hysterically. He asked the captain for another rod with a diamond jig, he was determined to snag the rod and get it back. We were anchored, but obviously pivoting arond the anchor a bit. He kept pointing to some random spot and saying "that's where it is".

5 minutes later, not only does he bring up the rod, but there is a 6 pound sea bass on the other end.

Would never believe it if I wasn't there. I swear it happened.
