Does Cain Have a Chance?

Having recently changed my party affiliation from Democrat to Independent I find this Republican candidate interesting. I have troubles with backing Romney given that our state is no better off after his tenure. I'm no political genious but this guy seems genuine and has a good business background but lacks the political experience. Honestly that's what draws me to him. I'm curious as to what folks here think about him as a candidate.

Sorry guys, I didn't see the other thread already started regarding Cain. I don't venture in this forum often. I'll keep watching him though. I never seem to back the winners so I'm sure he'll go down in flames and something will get dredged up on him that ruins his chances.

If one step down from the Fed Chairman isn't political experience what is??? Maybe we should elect a junior senator that votes present instead of taking a stand...

In a WSJ Poll Caine jumped to 27% over Romney's 22% by likely
GOP Primary voters.

Good, we need a straight talker in place of the BS that's flying
around in the White House.

Cain is fighting the media and still staying high in the Gop race. Media says that he has no political back round, and running a pizza shop, "SO What." The media does not mention his bio that is greater then most that are holding public office today. And yes with the debate the other day of course New Hampshire would not like his 9-9-9 plan, they have no sales tax, does not tax earned income on their W-2 form. Eight other states have no state income tax: Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, Wyoming and Tennessee.

What worries me about Cain is, can he carry the southern states? Racism could play a big part in his down fall amongest other things.

The media has already chosen Romney.

IMO he just shot himself in the foot with those ridiculous statements

which shows he's living in the past or his own dream world !

that's as bad as when Perot uttered "you people" ........... just reversed

Cain has no shot.

He's getting time because he seems genuine...and that counts.

But his 9-9-9 is all nothing, and beyond that he has little to offer.

Cain and Huntsman are about the only two Republicans who seem genuine.

I saw Romney the other day on the stump and he looked like a deranged person ranting about the shape of the moon.
