Smile This time Last Year

Hit the Canal on Monday the 5th... Herring are in but no Bass, maybe next weekend.

Here is a pic taken on the 5th of may 2002 fishing the same spot I fished Monday.

Bigfish this is what we get to look forward to... 49" 42lbs, plenty of herring in this gut.

Herring was the bait...

The rings are the eyes on the rod, the rod is pointing at you.

Thumbs up

Nice fish smlcare, I see what you mean, real nice. I guess
you did'nt have the same luck on Monday when I saw you. I did'nt
have any luck but I did scope out a few new spots. That was a nice live well you had, I posted a reply on the thread about live
wells to the fella who was having trouble and I saw you on there.
I told him to pick your brain, nice setup. Look forward to seeing you and your buddy Scott again soon. Talk to you later.

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Yeah, nice fish! I checked my records from last year and I caught my first keeper on May 5th last year in the canal not far from where that photo was taken. Not as big as that fish though.
