Winter pic thread
How about a random winter pic thread to keep things interesting? Post em if you have em...fish, loved ones, pets, boats, whatever...keep the fire burning until the first bright fish arrive.
Cutty clubhouse, Robinson's, and just south of Cannapitsett looking north:

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

45 years of fishing and this is the only time I've seen anyone do this.
An old timer cutting behind Pine Island in Woods Hole with his catboat.
After taking his picture I stood and applauded.

First summer my 2 sons actually wanted to go fishing. Beginning of August in upper Buzzards Bay, both hooked up.
Labor Day weekend down the Cape. Wind was howling S/SW and we were watching wind surfers down by Forest Beach, S Chatham.

When I enlarged the pic of your daughter I let out a little chuckle. Awesome pic. She's loving it. Great job to both of you!

Heres a few I have uploaded, I love having my waterproof digital camera on me at all times, always find myself shooting something.
First one is a sunset pic from Monday November 28th at Charlestown Beach, what an amazing day of fishing.
This pic is of my old sous chef on the same day, he throws conventional in the surf which is just amazing to watch, he’s a great chef too.
Block sunrise on our last day. Woke up early and couldn’t sleep so went for a walk before the town came to life.
The three amigos taking a break on block while the wetsuits dry, our first block trip this year. Place is amazing.
Taylor aka Toaster with his personal best from this year, caught on a homemade eel bob.
Last one is of my dogs for the annual xmas card, rocky is a 6.5 year old lab mix and Kona is a 3.5 year old pit mix, both gentle and loveable dogs.
I have a ton of pics Ill continue to post over the winter, great thread idea!!!

Yes it is. The ice mouse is the rarest of woodland critters. The smell of cigars can draw it out when conditions are just so.
