Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

It said on the news tonight it was after sunset. Then again, I've known a few women with that "deer in the headlights," not-too-bright look about them.

The law states legal shooting time is a half hour after legal sunset. Lookup legal sunset for tomorrow and see how much light is still in the sky..
The guy f'd up for sure. But there is no law against stupidity, and there is no law or regulation that says you need to fully see your target, it is merely a suggestion

There are some big woods in that area and heard of some rumors of big deer. Was she wearing orange? I had a walker in the woods twice this year walk right under my tree stand. I had on a blaze orange vest and a baseball cap and I was about 22 feet in the air. I guess he was focused on the trail....
I heard shots all around me at that time and was glad someone possibly got a shot off at a deer....
Its a shame....

The woman's husband used to teach hunters safety courses, and is a hunter himself. He said he wasn't going to post it, but who knows.
Mike she had on a light green jacket, but orange.

If you're going to have hunting, you're going to have some accidents. It's like surfcasting deaths, regardless of attempts at awareness, people still get washed away and drown.

If somebody was in my front yard yelling at my front door, threatening and menacing me with a club, I'd shoot him and ten more mo-fo's just like him.

doesn't he have to be a certain distance from any establishment(like a house) when shooting?

Not if you drag him closer and wipe the blood trail with water and bleach solution before you call it in.

The law says 500' from an OCCUPIED dwelling or building. So in theory if there is no one home you could discharge closer.

i would have thought Occupied dwelling meant
that someone lives there...
not whether they are home or not....
which would be difficult to determine

Good time of year to shoot somebody menacing you from your lawn. Nice and cold. You could wrap the body in plastic, stash it, and get rid of it at your leisure.

Heard today the 911 call and that the woman is not doing well. Needed multiple transfusions overnight.
If she dies will he be charged with manslaughter?
He said on the 911 call...why weren't you wearing a green jacket or something. Guy was pretty flipped out.
