Van Staal VM150- Anyone using one?

Looks interesting. Any reports from folks who are fishing them? If I wrap my 10' Century Stealth blank as a spinning rod, this may be the reel I'll consider as a match. Any thoughts or info appreciated. Thanks.

I have one, used it in the fall for eels on my 10' triumph. Great reel and held up well and dunked it quite a bit

I may take you up on that at some point. I am mostly interested in durability, ability to survive dunking and how easily the bail snaps closed while casting. I've lost enough plugs from closing bails and I've gotten very wary of bailed reels. So far my Spheros and Baitrunner have not had that problem, but others have so, for heavier plugs on 10' and longer rods, I am pretty much bail-less. So those are my concerns. It looks nice and the price is reasonable if it does what is claimed. Thanks.
