Check out fish malitia website. I've got a DVD of surf fishing obx - lots of huge redfish, 40-50+ pounds from the beach in some nasty conditions. I'll send you a copy if you want

I think he is referring to fishmilitia.com. Reddrumtackle.com is another site w/ a pretty active board. I don't think there is much going on in the surf Feb. and March until the drum show. Maybe speckled trout and occasional stripers. The drum don't get there til later march at the earliest. April is prime time for drum, but the point typically gets closed.

No, no, no. we’re 30… 30, three zero.

Bass fishing from the surf, generally is not that great, especially if you have to drive 15 hrs to get there. You can have a blitz now and then off the beach. but for the most part its an offshore fisherie. And I should add a big fish offshore fisherie. for the most part the fish hang a few miles offshore. And its always a steady pick when weather allows boats to get to them.

Lots of charters, but many zip out to the EEZ and actually poach stripers.

Book wisely.
