Trim Tab not working

Before I go digging, I have one trim tab working and one is dead, would they be on separate fuses? I'm thinking it's wiring or fuses.

If it's a Bennet.. just one in line fuse... my guess is the rocker switch... I've replaced mine twice in the 15 years they have been on the boat....then again.. mine are on a center console out in the open..

you also might want the check the plug where the harness plugs into the acurator pump... you might find a case of the greenies in there as well...

you didnt mention if the pump is running , on the side that is dead... is it dead in both directions?...

A good run is better than a bad stand!

If its Lenco most likely a bad actuator. They are good for 3-4 years typical.

yeah...it's probably easier to just buy a new boat...once the trim tab goes that is pretty much it.
