Finally

First keeper of the year..

I must have put in 50-75 hours for this fish (lost track). Just this Sunday I trolled 7miles around mid-bay with my kayak for nothing except 1 snagged menhaden.

29" on the tape never looked so good I knew it was a keeper as soon as I felt the weight on the popper. It was extra nice because I caught it from shore and right after 2 guys gave up at the same spot. I had been there plugging today since 5pm. Finally got the hit as soon as the sun hid behind the clouds at sunset.

On a side note.. Not a single thing in this fish's belly...

Congrats.

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

It's a little early for the spots you're fishing...today on is another story.

Keep at it and we'll be seeing some cow shots from you soon.
