Heading South soon and need some info on NC

Hi All, we are going to go down to the carolina's the 1st 2 weeks of November, we were thinking about staying in Nags head as we were there a few years ago in January.

But what we are looking for is best place to get into some great surf fishing for Red drum, black drum, Stripers and albies whatever!!!. '

Also is the surf fishing this time of year more bait fishing or lures? Have plenty of custom rods to take, 11 1/2 ft meat sticks, 11ft custom rods for casting lures. 9 fters, and light tackle. what type of lures would you suggest bringing?

Any info anybody can provide would be great as we have had a tough couple of years and we are just looking to get away for our belated honeymoon and just go hit the beaches and rip some lips and relax.

I have not been on here in a while, need to catch up with everybody as I also see alot of people on here need some thoughts and prayers going their way as well.
