We did the 4-8AM shift too but a bit further east cape side, ran into some shady guy on a bicycle looking for a lost plug.

Does your incessant whining make you feel better? How about you just shut the hell up and suck it up? It's a fishing forum , so please just stop.

Yesterday was probably the coldest morning I have ever fished. Finger numbing. Today I gave up at 8. I almost had a stroke riding into that friggin wind for a mile and found 3 nit wits casting into the wind and catching tree branches. Got away from them fast. I then went to another spot closer to work and got skunked there too. Only got 1 more day, Friday, till I hang it up but I'm happy as I got a good one on Monday, friggin November, to close out a fantastic season.

Didn't find my plug either.

Funny I only saw two nitwits, and one of them was testing his new tree branch plug launching technique. Its very complicated, you wouldn't understand it.

I was parked there and left around the same time. Nada for me. Not even a rat. The cold wasn't too bad. Wind sucked.

Ok, ok, I've told everyone that I'm suffering from TTV (tuna tunnel vision)... I was trying to use that tree branch as an outrigger. Please don't try this, someone may get hurt!!!
As always Paul, its good to see you on the canal!!!

Can't wait to fish with Ty again!!! He is the "COW" catcher in that family. We can't talk about the other guy, some people stalk him for his fishing spots..... : )....

Just my one of many of my friends excuses for the boy outfishing them..consistently. When I find out who taught the kid I'll thank him for sure.

I took a look this morning before work as it was my last day this year. Didn't even take rod out of the truck as the water was brown. Visibility was about 3 inches max. See you guys next spring and good luck to anyone still plugging away. Put a fork in me I'm done.

LOL. I haven't done a damn thing at either of my places since April, and one needs lots of work, so my wife has had enough. She is very tolerant of my obsession, every fisherman's dream when it comes to not giving me grief about this crazy addiction, so I need to listen as I can tell she ain't kidding. Also got some elbow work being done on Monday and fishing won't be possible unless I can figure out a way to fish with one arm. Was kind of hoping I may actually get down to your state to do some fishing this late fall but not in cards, again. Maybe next year.
